We’re proud to let you know that our GP, Dr Christopher Priest, was recently recognised in the Victorian Rural Health Awards.
The awards highlight the achievements of rural health workers across the state.
Dr Priest was acknowledged for 35+ years of service to rural health, and the continuity of care he has provided to the local community.
“Good ongoing patient-doctor relationships are the key to supporting health and wellbeing,” says Dr Priest.
Kyneton Medical Centre is an established family practice serving communities across Kyneton and the Macedon Ranges. Most of Dr Priest’s career has been spent in Kyneton where he and his wife Lindy raised their family and continue to run a farm.
He’s on the lookout now for GPs who want to experience the country life with community, city proximity and career growth.
For Dr Priest, being a GP in a rural area means being knowledgeable, modern and caring. This includes having a good online resource for patients.
